Baku’s Medieval Landmark Architectures

The XI century Muhammad Mosque and Minaret. It the oldest Islamic architecture in Baku, and one of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites of Old Town Baku, also known as Icheri Sheher.

The XV century Palace Ensemble resided by the Shahs of Shirvan after devastating earthquake in Shamakhi. It’s a UNESCO World Cultural  Heritage site in Baku. The picture below shows the south eastern side of the house where the Shahs would live family members and servants.
